Fan art of one my all time favorite games.

This is probably the most challenging piece i worked on,mostly cause of Rex's shape.
The dynamic angles were a pain but i'm happy with the results.

The feathers i added using manga studio.

Expect a colored version soon.

Nice perspective, or dynamic angles as you called them. I love the complexity. And i like it as black and white, but it'll be interesting to see in color.

Hoooolllly Crap!

Mecha, humans, all in dynamic poses, in my favorite game of all time! In the most memorable scene of all time!

Plus the attention to detail is on a level that is unseen elsewhere in the fanart community. From the shoulders down to the boots, Snake is perfect. Even with the ninja, the armor looks like its in all the right places.

What's kinda ironic is that for someone who didn't really follow the laws of physics (ninja) he got killed because he ignored them. When things fly in the air, no matter how fast, when they start to fall again, there is a point in the air where they have a speed of zero, and that's when Liquid cut his arm off and pretty much ended the fight. So I guess you captured the moment a split second before it happened.

True.

But he was tired of living,so i think he knew he was gonna lose either way.

Although the simple fact that he did confront Rex on his own is what i personally thought was the best part of that scene,that and when Rex squished him like a bug.

but he wasnt really living, just a "prisoner of death" so he wanted to die. which wasnt really the impression that you got when he first killed everyone in the hallway.

Rex is fun to draw. I got one on my recents, though I did it without a ref so I couldn't go crazy on the mech lines.

Just a tip :) lose the feathers, it totally kills the vibe.
